Global Crane Services Attends Crane and Mechanical Handling Forum in Aberdeen

Global Crane Services was represented by our General Manager Gordon Harper and our Sales/Technical Rep Craig Graham, at the recent Crane and Mechanical Handling Forum in Aberdeen.

Held two times a year, this popular event continues to grow, bringing together a strong mix of professionals from across multiple sectors. It's a great opportunity to meet with representatives from regulatory bodies, certifying authorities, operators, major contractors, trade associations, service companies, and the wider crane, rigging and lifting supply chain.

For us, engagement in forums such as this is essential when operating at scale, ensuring alignment with industry standards, evolving regulations, and best practice across all areas of lifting operations. There was a packed agenda with a wide range of subjects covered, and the in-depth presentations provided valuable insight into the challenges and developments shaping both the offshore and onshore industries.

As we look forward to the next one, proposed date Thursday 1st October 2026, it’s worth mentioning that the forum continues to look for new material, content, and presenters -  keeping things fresh, relevant, and engaging for everyone involved.
